1. Q: What time of day should I water?
A: It is best to be completed before sunrise, make start time early enough so that it finishes before the sun comes up.

2. Q: How many days of the week should I water?
A: During the heat of summer you should water every day, however during spring and fall it is ok to only water every other day.

3. Q: What do I need to do to my system before winter?
A: There are two options you can contact Ron Hall Sprinklers and we can winterize your system for a small fee or you can winterize the system yourself if you have patience and a 1 to 2 horsepower air compressor.

4. Q: When does my system need to be winterized?
A: If we are going to winterize the system we will contact you sometime in October and let you know when we are in your neighborhood. If you are going to do it, just get it done before winter sets in for good, the system is usually good until 25 deg F.

5. Q: What should I do if there is an early cold snap?
A: If there is an early cold snap, all of the exposed lines need to be insulated. For more details click here.

6. Q: What do I do if brown spots start to occur?
A: Ron Hall Sprinklers has a brown spot guarantee, so if it was an irrigation problem that caused the brown spot we will fix it. However, if you want to try to solve the problem yourself check these items.

7. Q: Why do I want an underground sprinkler system?
A: To keep your lawn lush and green all season, the most efficient and cost effective method is a properly installed under ground sprinkler system.

9. Q: What will happen to my lawn upon installation?
A: The installation will mildly disturb the lawn for one to two days, however, the newly installed system will help the lawn to recover more quickly.

10. Q: How do I start my system back up in the spring?
A: Spring start-up is fairly simple, it is pretty much just a reversal of winterization, and checking head adjustments. If you don't want this hassle, Ron Hall Sprinklers provides this service for a small fee.
